At Future of Women,

we create original multimedia content and programming by, for, and about women from around the world to openly look at the pursuit of being a modern woman.

We collaborate with award-winning female chefs worldwide, from Los Angeles to Mexico City to Tel Aviv, to host a monthly women's breakfast series featuring game-changing women such as Olympic athletes, Emmy-winning producers, top Billboard musicians, and New York Times journalists on topics including architecture, sports, art, music, journalism, and human rights. In 2018, we hosted nine sold out breakfasts and launched the 2019 breakfast series in NYC in partnership with Bon App├ętit.

We team up with chefs whose food bridges cultures, tells untold stories, empowers minorities, and has a positive impact on the world.

Our guests gather around the breakfast table to learn about dishes from different cultures

and have an open discussion with women who are leading the conversation across different industries, from art and architecture to journalism and human rights to cannabis and food.


Future of Women was launched in 2017 by Hallie Applebaum.

Previously, Hallie worked at the World Bank advising policymakers, universities, museums, and tech companies across Latin American, Europe, the Middle East, and the US on best practices for creating and fostering entrepreneurship programs.

Hallie's work has been featured in publications by MIT, the World Bank, and the World Economic Forum. She holds a Masters from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is based in Los Angeles.
