It all began one year ago.

Today, we celebrate our first birthday.

This year has been an incredible journey, full of learning and growth. Thanks for the love and support along the way.

Future of Women began as a series of women's dinners around the world.

Women gathered for intimate dinners in Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin, Beirut, Dubai, NYC, DC, San Francisco, Toronto, and Mexico City.

We invited women to tell the world their stories.

Born out of the belief that stories can help us connect across cultures and create social change, we began featuring stories about incredible women on every continent.

(The complete collection of 150+ profiles from 40+ countries is coming soon!)

These stories inspired us to create a global documentary series about women today.

We spent the summer in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East filming women's stories. The footage is in the hands of our talented editors and is being turned into episodes for you to enjoy and share!

Along our travels, women introduced us to products that they were creating. We launched a #WOMENMADE holiday marketplace to share their work with the world.

While traveling through remote regions of southwest China, Nu Market co-founder @carolinegutman discovered beautiful handicraft traditions, preserved by geographic remoteness and refined by generations of women artisans. But in a region faced with illiteracy and limited job opportunities beyond agriculture, women artisans today often lack a marketplace for their handicrafts beyond their own villages. She began Nu Market because she saw true potential in connecting women from two worlds: Entrepreneurial, talented, inspiring women artisans in rural China with stylish, sophisticated, socially-conscious individuals. Nu Market is about more than just beautiful handicrafts. Purchases directly support the women artisans they work with 20% of profits go towards different initiatives in partner communities, helping make women’s traditional handicrafts both a sustainable and fulfilling livelihood.

We're looking forward to another great year!
